The Keto-Mate bolus is a “Rapid Release Energy Supplement” with calcium and niacin for both pre and post freshening dairy cows and cows experiencing other metabolic challenges. Keto-Mate is a dietary supplement used to help lower the possible risk of ketosis (acetonemia).

  • Treat cows in one day versus multiple days and a liquid drench
  • Use as a preventative treatment for cows pregnant with twins. Give pills immediately after freshening.

Feeding Recommendation:

Administer minimum three boluses shortly after calving using a bolus applicator as per the instructions. If required, administer a second dose of three boluses 12 hours later. Repeat as necessary and consult your veterinarian.
